The PCI · Creative Science Park Aveiro Region, managed by the University of Aveiro, has awarded the architectural design contract for the future AMPERE Project infrastructure, an initiative aimed at strengthening the region’s capabilities in microelectronics, with a particular focus on the semiconductor sector.
This project marks another important step in positioning Aveiro as a leading hub for technological innovation, creating the conditions to foster research, development and innovation while enhancing collaboration between companies, academia and research institutions.
The new infrastructure is expected to further strengthen the regional microelectronics ecosystem and support the strategic growth of the semiconductor industry in Portugal and across Europe.
