The European Commission is inviting researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs and innovation stakeholders to participate in a European survey supporting the development of the Chips Act 2.0, the next phase of the European Union’s strategy to strengthen the resilience, competitiveness and technological sovereignty of the semiconductor ecosystem.
The survey aims to identify the key priorities and needs of the European semiconductor value chain, gathering insights from organisations across Europe.
The consultation focuses on strategic areas including:
- Semiconductors for Artificial Intelligence;
- Advanced packaging;
- Shared technology infrastructures;
- Research, innovation and manufacturing capabilities;
- Strengthening Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem.
The contributions collected will help shape future European policies and investments, ensuring they respond to the real needs of the semiconductor community.
The participation of the Portuguese ecosystem is particularly important to ensure that national priorities and capabilities are reflected in the future European strategy.
