Microelectronics Agenda Highlights Project Achievements at the 3rd National Meeting of Mobilising Agendas

The Microelectronics Agenda took part in the 3rd National Meeting of Mobilising Agendas, held at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira. The event brought together more than 45 Mobilising Agendas and over 1,500 participants to showcase the main achievements and the impact of projects funded under Portugal’s Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).

Throughout the exhibition, the partners of the Microelectronics Agenda consortium came together to present and disseminate the project’s achievements, fostering knowledge exchange, networking opportunities and collaboration while highlighting the impact of cooperation between industry, technology and research organisations.

The Microelectronics Agenda stand showcased the project’s progress, with a particular focus on the 26 Products, Processes and Services (PPS) developed by the consortium. These innovations demonstrate the consortium’s capabilities in microelectronics, semiconductors, advanced packaging, sustainability, circular economy and technological capacity building.

The stand was also visited by the delegation of the Secretary of State for the Economy, providing an opportunity to present the consortium’s work, the progress achieved and the Agenda’s contribution to strengthening the competitiveness of Portugal’s industrial sector.

The event was also attended by the Minister for the Economy and Territorial Cohesion and the Minister for the Environment, underlining the strategic importance of the Mobilising Agendas in driving the transformation of the Portuguese economy and promoting collaborative innovation.

Participation in this event provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration among the different consortia, promote knowledge sharing and demonstrate the Microelectronics Agenda’s contribution to the development of a more innovative, sustainable and technologically advanced industry.

As the project moves into its consolidation phase, the Microelectronics Agenda remains committed to achieving its objectives and contributing to positioning Portugal as a European benchmark in the fields of microelectronics and semiconductors through highly innovative solutions with significant economic impact.
