Last week, INL Partner – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, in partnership with the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and the National Innovation Agency, held an Information Session dedicated to the European Chips Joint Undertaking (Chips JU).
The event covered the funding opportunities available under the initiative, which acts as a central instrumental force in implementing the mission of the European Chips Act – a framework designed to strengthen the continent’s competitiveness and resilience in semiconductor technologies.
It was attended by Portugal’s Minister for Science, Technology and Higher Education, Elvira Fortunato, Chips JU Program Officer Anton Chichkov, FCT President Madalena Alves, experts, academia and industry to explore the joint European effort to strengthen Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem.
