Inova-Ria – Association of Companies for an Innovation Network in Aveiro organized the 8th Thematic Workshop of the Microelectronics Agenda, dedicated to “Technologies in the Automotive Sector”, bringing together representatives from industry, research centers, and academia to discuss the role of microelectronics in the technological and sustainable transformation of mobility.
The event was part of the series of Thematic Workshops of the Microelectronics Agenda, an initiative that has been promoting, across Portugal, the sharing of knowledge and debate on major technological and strategic challenges shaping the future of microelectronics in Portugal and Europe.

The workshop focused on microelectronic solutions applied to the automotive industry, particularly in the areas of smart mobility, advanced sensors, embedded systems, and vehicle connectivity.
During the event, participants discussed the trends redefining the sector, from vehicle digitalization and electrification to the integration of artificial intelligence technologies and driver assistance systems, showcasing the contribution of Portuguese companies and institutions to this rapidly evolving ecosystem.
