HFA hosted an Open Day on semiconductors focused on innovation and internationalisation within the sector, as part of the PRR-funded Micro.electronics project led by AIDA CCI – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the District of Aveiro.
On the 29th, HFA – Henrique, Fernando & Alves, S.A. welcomed the Open Day “Semiconductors: From Innovation to Internationalisation” at its facilities. The event, organised by AIDA CCI in partnership with HFA, brought together companies, professionals and strategic partners for a morning of knowledge sharing, trends and opportunities in the microelectronics sector.
The initiative, held within the framework of the Microelectronics Agenda and co-funded by the Portuguese Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR), through Next Generation EU, provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the role of semiconductors in industrial transformation. Key topics included global trends, challenges and opportunities related to technological innovation and business internationalisation.
Throughout the event, HFA presented its capabilities, projects and strategic vision, including its approach to international growth, as well as the contribution of the microelectronics industry to building a more competitive and sustainable business ecosystem.
The programme also included a guided tour of HFA’s facilities, allowing participants to gain first-hand insight into its processes, technologies and installed capacity, while fostering closer relationships between companies and promoting future synergies.
The session brought together 12 representatives from business, institutional and sector expert communities, reinforcing the importance of collaboration in driving innovation and internationalisation.
