Consortium member Inova-Ria, as a partner of the Microelectronics Agenda, will be holding the Thematic Workshop “Microelectronics and the Challenges of Mobility and the Automotive Industry” on October 30, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., in the Auditorium of the MIM Innovation and Technology Centre in Águeda.

The first panel, dedicated to discussing “Infrastructures and Hardware”, will be moderated by Alcino Lavrador, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Microelectronics Agenda, and speakers will include:
- Jorge Cabral – Director of CEiiA – Center for Engineering and Product Development;
- Frederico Vaz – Chief Technology Officer at A-to-Be
- Paulo Monteiro – Professor at the Telecommunications Institute and University of Aveiro – IT
- Joaquim Ferreira – Coordinating Professor at ESTGA
In the second panel, we will discuss “Applications” in the mobility industry, with Pedro Roseiro, Project Manager at Inova-Ria as moderator. This panel is made up of the following speakers:
- José Rui Simões – Business Development Manager at Critical Software
- José Oliveira – Head of Embedded & Critical Systems at Capgemini
- Rafael Chelim – Head of Embedded Systems at Stratio
This technical session is part of the Automotive Summit 2024 event, one of the largest Portuguese events dedicated to the automotive industry. There will be two discussion panels, the first dedicated to “Infrastructure and Hardware” and the second to “Applications” in the automotive sector. Our aim is to train industry professionals, contributing to their technological update.
