The Minister for the Economy, Pedro Reis, accompanied the Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, on a visit to the premises of our Associate and Microelectronics Agenda Partner, Amkor technology Portugal, in Vila do Conde, to learn about the company’s manufacturing expansion project.
Amkor Technology is one of the world’s largest suppliers of packaging for semiconductor products and the increase in its production capacity in Portugal represents an investment of 150 million euros.
This is one of the investments contracted by AICEP for 2024, with a total value of 420 million euros.
