The Skills Development Plan for the Microelectronics Industry and Regional Ecosystems is now available for consultation. This new study is promoted by Inova-Ria, as a consortium partner of the Microelectronics Agenda, a project funded by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
The study aims to support strategic reflection on the challenges and opportunities associated with skills development in a sector that is critical to Europe’s industrial and technological competitiveness, strengthening cooperation between industry, academia, R&D centres and regional ecosystems.
The document provides an in-depth analysis of current and future skills needs in the field of microelectronics, identifying priorities, trends and strategic recommendations that may contribute to the design of policies, training programmes and collaborative initiatives at national and European levels.
Due to its scope and strategic focus, this study represents a valuable resource for business leaders, public decision-makers, academic institutions, research and innovation organisations, as well as all stakeholders involved in the development of the microelectronics sector.
The Microelectronics Observatory also offers other relevant resources, including strategic studies and documents, information of interest to industrial and technology companies, and a contact point for entities interested in partnerships and opportunities in Portugal and across Europe.
