The Microelectronics Agenda will be present at SEMICON Europa 2025, one of the largest international events dedicated to the semiconductor industry, taking place from 18 to 21 November 2025 in Munich, Germany, alongside Productronica.

Under the theme “Global Collaborations for European Economic Resilience”, this year’s edition reinforces the importance of global cooperation for Europe’s economic resilience. In an increasingly interconnected world, collaboration between nations is essential to ensure future prosperity, sustainability, and security.

AIDA CCI, INESC MN and PCI, partners of the consortium, will be present at the Microelectronics Agenda stand – Hall C1.649 – where they will showcase innovative products and technologies developed within the scope of the Agenda, reflecting a strong commitment to technological innovation and environmental sustainability.

Featured solutions include:

  • EXATRONIC: electronic communication boards (4G/5G), contactless interfaces, power controllers, audio systems and control panels for alarm and detection systems;

  • HFA: signal acquisition and processing modules, and telecommunications boards for backbone infrastructures and high-speed networking systems;

  • INESC MN: microfabricated silicon wafers with tunnelling magnetoresistive (TMR) sensors and structures for hybrid integration of photonic chips;

  • PICadvanced: transceivers based on integrated photonic circuits (PIC) for next-generation PON technologies.

The presence of the Microelectronics Agenda at SEMICON Europa 2025 reinforces Portugal’s role within the European microelectronics landscape and demonstrates the innovation capacity of the companies and institutions that make up its consortium.
