With the aim of raising awareness among young people and students about choosing the Microelectronics and Semiconductors sector as a future option, our partner Inova-Ria will be present tomorrow, 20 March, at the “Tech Week – Electronics, Telecommunications and Aerospace Week” Job Fair, which is being held at DETI-UA – University of Aveiro, bringing together the scientific community.
João Luís Ramos da Costa, technical director of the Information Systems and Technology department at partner HFA, will also be giving a talk on automatic test and production support systems for electronic products.
In this talk, the speaker will present the automatic testing processes used by HFA for electronic equipment. Specific developments to reduce test times, standardise criteria and make them independent of human operators will also be shared. The production control system will also be presented. It takes place from 2pm to 3pm in the HFA Group Room at DETI.
The need to attract qualified talent to the areas of Microelectronics and Semiconductors and to retain them in Portugal is increasingly a priority for the sector and the various organisations that operate in it. To this end, we are working closely with the scientific community to promote the Microelectronics Agenda and the opportunities inherent in the sector.
The Microelectronics Agenda is funded by PRR.
