Inova-Ria took part in the DETIHub Job Fair, promoting the Microelectronics Agenda and Opportunities to students

Inova-Ria, as a partner of the Microelectronics Agenda, took part in the DETIHub Job Fair on March 26 and 27, which was held at the University of Aveiro’s DETI.

DETIHub is a job fair organized by the representative bodies of DETI (Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics of the University of Aveiro), namely AETTUA (Electronics, Telecommunications and Telematics Association of the University of Aveiro), NEI (Computer Science Student Group), NEEETA (Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications and Aerospace Student Group) and NEECT (Computer Engineering and Telematics Student Group).

Inova-Ria’s aim in taking part in this event was to make the students aware of the Semiconductor and Microelectronics sector as a possible future option and also to disseminate the Microelectronics Agenda, its Consortium, objectives and results, making the project, its entities and work known. They were also introduced to the Microelectronics Observatory, a platform which, in addition to other functions, seeks to map companies operating in these areas at a national level and which provides job offers from the Agenda’s partners: https://observatory.micro-electronics.eu/.

As the event was open to the academic community, there were approximately 74 visits to the stand, 51 CVs were received and 15 interviews were held.

Among the visits he received, he had the opportunity to meet Professor Nuno Borges de Carvalho (Director of the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications); and Professor Arnaldo Silva Rodrigues de Oliveira (one of the representatives of the University of Aveiro, within the scope of the Microelectronics Agenda and a researcher in the area of Microelectronics at IT).
